Then, this expanded in 2005, and we included a range of pop-up mailers and promotional printed products with manufacturing in the UK and China. At the same time, we commenced operations in the USA, which has developed over time to be our primary market and focus moving forward.

Then to keep pace with the ever-changing world, in 2012, Curveball entered the video brochure marketplace and in no time established itself as one of the leading vendors in the industry. 

Video brochures are a great way to make a lasting impression on your customers, right? They’re also a great way to show off your brand and catch the attention of potential clients.

New Venture

Since 2002, Curveball has been the go-to resource for small businesses and large corporations alike. We’ve been helping people create memorable experiences for their customers and employees with our video brochures and other promotional products. 

Now, we are focusing on the launch of a new business aimed at the consumer market. This new business will provide video products as mementos of key life events in the form of birthdays, weddings, pets, etc. 

We are currently working with our web development team on the scale and scope of the new business and plan to roll it out in January 2023. We’ve had a lot of fun working on this new product line and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The Funeral Business 

Over the years, we have worked with a diverse range of industries, from cooking sauces to aerospace; however, until recently, the funeral home business is one that has never crossed our path.

A few months back, we were commissioned to create a video box for a deceased family member’s memorial. That was something that we had never done, but to honor the deceased one – it was just the right thing to do. After that, the idea has developed, and we are now in the process of productizing a range of video boxes and brochures to act as keep-sakes and celebrations of life. 

Since the recent pandemic, the funeral business has started a transformation. Live streaming of funerals is now commonplace. There are not many growth industries at present, but with death rates in the developed world increasing and life expectancy reducing across the board, the range of products and services offered in this sector is bound to increase along with merger and acquisition activity.

However, after working in promotional marketing for so long for us, serving the more somber funeral industry will take some adjustment.

 Founder and CEO of Curveball Adam Hazelwood married his new wife Andromeda at a private ceremony in the Netherlands. The couple spent their honeymoon in the ancient forests of Appledorn.
